Portfolio
This picture taken in Boston Public Gardens. It includes multiple composition elements, some of the elements are leading lines that lead your eyes around the picture which is the same thing the diagonals do. This picture contains repetition. All of these elements are presented through the metal poles that make up the design of the bridge. Depth of field is also present. I decided to change the picture from color to black and white. My point of view while taking the picture is straight on.
This photo was photographed in the middle of Boston. It contains composition elements such as leading lines that lead you eyes down the street. Also Rule of Thirds and depth are created by the buildings and the street. There are technical aspects in the photographs like having a large depth of field, black and white, and contrast. The compelling subject matter of the city and tall buildings make the picture one of my best.
This photo was taken at school during the painting with light assignment. There are many elements and components that make the picture worth being in my portfolio. The lines, shape, and color in the photo create a mysterious mood. Besides the composition and artistic elements there were also some technical aspects. For examples I used a slow shutter speed and the white balance was florescent.
